1) Unroll the ground sheet on a flat, pebble-free underground and fix it to the ground using the smallest pegs you can find in the canvas bag. Notice that the ground sheet is not completely round, but has a flattened side. This is where the front door will be.
2) Put the tent in the desired direction. Check whether all the zippers are closed.
3) Use the tent pegs to fix the rubber loops at the bottom of the tent to the ground. First attach the two sides of the entrance to the ground and then work your way around the tent. This way your tent will be pitched perfectly.
4) Assemble the tent poles. Open the tent door and enter the tent with the central pole. Make sure the rubber top of the central pole is located at the top of the tent when you set up the pole. When the pole is as upright as possible, take the A-frame. On top of it, there is a pin which fits into the hole above the front door. Put the frame into place and ensure it is also as upright as possible. Take the plastic cap out of the accessory bag and put it onto the pin.
5) Leave the tent and fix the guy rope above the door to the ground (you can remove it later if there is not much wind). Close the door and continue with the guy ropes at both sides of the door. If you have finished with those, go to the back of the tent and repeat. When you have fixed all the guy ropes to the ground, check whether the tension is equally divided between the guy ropes.
Note: It is essential that all the guy ropes should be in one line with the seams of the tent, so the tent is pitched symmetrically and the tension is equally divided between the guy ropes. First attach all the guy ropes to the ground before adjusting their
tension.
Roll up the sides
On hot summer days you can roll up the sides of the tent so you can enjoy some fresh air. Unzip the bottom of the tent walls, roll up the sides and tie them up.
